Complete your VoiceThread project (http://voicethread.com) - DUE SUNDAY MIDNIGHT (1/15). Instructions are posted below and under Forms and Docs on our class website. You'll see them in the Multimedia Project folder for the Second Quarter. For this week's blog response you'll have to do four things things:
a.) post the link to your VoiceThread discussion in the comment's section below
b.) list the question you're posing in the VoiceThread in the comment's section below
c.) describe what you liked/didn't like about using VoiceThread to generate a discussion in the comment's section below
d.) send your VoiceThread link to me via email with your name and class period listed in the subject line
Here's the assignment guidelines and rubric:
1. First, you will sign in to your VoiceThread account (http://voicethread.com/) to create a virtual dialogue about a theme from the unit connected to Tattoos on the Heart and/or A Good Man is Hard to Find. If you forgot your username and password, use the link to reactivate it or create a new one. I recommend that you explore the theme of compassion towards the enemy/victimizer. You need to include 2-5 pictures and a question that you pose. Both of these items should be related to your theme. In your question, try to discuss ideas/themes/events from Tattoos on the Heart and A Good Man is Hard to Find. I recommend that you use the microphone to complete your VoiceThread, but you can also pose the discussion question in writing. Share you link with me via email, and also share it with someone from the class who you want to have a discussion with. You’ll actually be required to post your VoiceThread link to this week’s Blog. You may also want to share your thread with students from outside the class as well.
VoiceThread Rubric:
Student poses a question related to theme from unit ____/50
Students includes 2-5 pictures related to theme ____/50
TOTAL ____/100

B.Is it possible for a mutual respect to exist between two foes?
C.I LOVED voice thread I got to voice my opinion and explain my way of thinking and I got to show off my crib to inquring listners. I guess I didn't like the blandness of the sight a blackscreen with a slideshow occupying the middle of the screen isn't that palatable.

I really enjoyed all of your VoiceThread discussions - I wish I had the time to respond to all of them. This actually will count as a third quarter homework grade. As long as you sent me a link with at least two pics and one question, you got 100/100. At the end of the year when you share your electronic portfolios, you'll share your VoiceThreads with the class. Some of you forgot to send me the links via email. You should do this so we can access them easily at the end of the year.
