Last week you completed a VoiceThread assignment. In the near future, you'll have to create your own voice thread to share with the class. In your VoiceThread, you'll include a picture or two related to a theme in Animal Farm, and then pose a question for the class.
For now, please respond to the following questions about your first VoiceThread experience last week:
1. What did you like/dislike about VoiceThread? Be specific!
2. What kind of picture/question/theme from Animal Farm might you explore in the VoiceThread that you'll create over Thanksgiving Break?

ReplyDelete1. What I liked about the VoiceThread is that its more interactive than doing these blogs. I can't think of anything I disliked about the VoiceThread.
2. For my VoiceThread on Animal Farm, I think I might do a theme on all the animals singing "Beasts Of England" together.
I liked the VoiceThread website because you dont have to just record a voice response, it gives you different options on how to respond to the picture. For my own VoiceThread, I think I might try to find a picture inspired by the book Animal Farm or one dipicting some form of war, revolution, change etc.

ReplyDelete1.I LOVED the voice thread activity! From being able to see fellow classmate Jazmin Horton's flat screen to hearing the numerous opinions of our class and others made me ecstatic. I disliked the number of trials I had to make to get my comment right without my parents interrupting or me stumbling over my words.
2.I plan to use the theme of a dictatorship in order to broadcast photos of Napoleon or Hitler. I'd also like to use the theme of betrayl in lue of Mollie leaving everyone behind to be with the humans.

No disrespect to the blog, but I like Voice Thread better. Why can't we do voice threads every week Mr.Sabath ?! That would be so fun! But anyways. I disliked that I had to make another one because I forgot my rfirst password.
2.For my Voice Thread project, I think that I'm going to do something with the theme of Napoleon using Snowball as as "scape-goat" and turning the farm against him by using the show The Real Houswives of Atlanta as an exsample.

ReplyDelete1. The voice thread is pretty interesting,I liked it because you had the option to speak on the webcam for everyone to see or just voice record for everyone to hear, you didn't necessarily have to type how you felt and that was something new.
2. Most likely something about how Napoleon got snowball off the farm and is taking all of his ideas and saying that they were his own, basically turning everyone against snowball and taking credit for his work.

Anja Lujenia-Marie Perry 2b
ReplyDelete1)I like the Voice Thread activity because it was a way for me to express myself in ways other than written. It's chance to put your comments and inner thoughts of appeal into the different things of society such as the Occupy Wall Street movement.
2)I would like to use the theme of Napoleans hypocracy and maybe a picture of the Pigs changing the commandments
Even though I didn't get a chance to comment on the voice thread, I liked how different it was and all the oppurtunites it gives you.I didn't dislike anything really. Also my theme on Animal Farm would probably be how the pigs would subtly change things on the commandments to accommodate their personal likes and dislikes, and how the government or other superior authorities do the same thing to society.
